Thank you UCLA! NU is in!

Slight assistance from Martinelli
Huge accomplishment to make the Big10 tournament after losing 2 of the top 3 scorers. Coaches and players came together to make it happen. Young players have gained lots of experience which will pay ends next year.
Let’s win a couple of tournament games and make a statement. Go Cats!

FWIW that “NUBB Guru” attention whore on X says that NU will decline a Crown invite, which seems like fake news given 1) teams are allegedly required to play per contractual obligations and 2) why would we do that lol. Unless we’d rather play in the NIT?

Minnesota playing into OT today and having to travel might give us a little bit of an edge in this one, but watching the games today, it all comes down to who gets hot. The Sandforts went off at Nebraska for 38 and the Huskers couldn't throw it in the ocean in the second half. Quite a comedown for a Nebraska team that looked like a near certainty NCAA pick a few weeks ago after they rallied to beat the Cats. There is so much parity throughout MOST of college hoops where a key injury or two and some bad end of game luck can be the difference between success and failure.

I thought Iowa without their big and being on the road would have been in trouble. But they shot the lights out from 3 and Nebby got an unexpected bad game from Brice Williams, who had been very hot of late.

End of the game luck! We know what that is.
