After Nebraska's late obliteration of Indiana on Friday, the Cats have moved into a tie for fourth place in the Big Ten.

They're tied with 11 other teams.

Yes, every team has now played one home game and one away game and 12 of the 18 teams are 1-1. Michigan State (Cats play them 1/12 in Evanston), Michigan (1/19 in Ann Arbor) and UCLA (3/3 in Evanston) are the only 2-0 teams.

Good for the huskers.

This might be the year the B1G has only one of three or four top 25s by the time we get to mid January. We did ourselves no favors in the non-cno.

I didn't watch the game but Nebraska's shooting percentages were extraordinary. 61% FG and 57% 3-pt.

So do you think Northwestern will make the conference tourney in March? I was looking at it (going to one of those is a bit of a bucket list item) and was reminded that only the top 15 teams play in the tourney, while the last three stay home. Yes, it's very likely that NU will finish in the top 15, but it would be miserable for a fan to make plans to attend and then not have his/her team qualify.

The 2028 conference tourney is in Las Vegas. That will be fun.
