I identified this kid early as a future Cat, but I kinda doubt it now. I talked to him tonight, and he says that he doesn't get that "home" feeling at NU yet. He's visited four times now, so if he doesn't have it yet, you wonder if he ever will. The biggest concern is the size of metro Chicago. He's from Findlay, Ohio, and it sounds like Chicago may be a little too big for him. He now calls NU his co-leader with Indiana. He's also going to camp and visit several more schools and hopes to earn more offers during the spring evaluation period. Pitt and Penn State are two programs he feels could be close to offering.
