Per Rivals X.

Good for him, quite a move to the #1 team in the nation. There are the buyers and there are the sellers now, and we’re not a buyer.

Can't blame a kid for wanting to chase a national championship. I do wonder what kind of payday (if any) was promised to him.

I assume he was getting some this year, as one of the top 2-3 players in defense. And I sure hope they tried to get $ for him to stay.
I thought the question was about Nil money from NU. NUFB don’t need no stinking NIL

What’s the big deal? I had read that NW has top half NIL money now 😂 Must be spending it all on lawyers 🤷🏻‍♂️

What’s NW? Nice win against Tennessee.
Eh terrible collapse to close out #1. Life with a young team. They’ll get better.

But you’re deflecting. What’s going on with NW? There was a lot of crowing from “insiders” about how much NIL money you had to throw around. Yet, it doesn’t seem to be enough to retain anyone because your best players are leaving to go elsewhere. And it doesn’t seem to be enough to acquire headline transfers either to replace the guys who left, because it’s a week in and premier spots like QB are getting pretty picked over with just scraps left soon; I have to assume this wasn’t a strategic decision to not add talent to a 4 win roster?

I’m surprised that in the Resource Era, NW opted to let Ryan build them a stadium. Wouldn’t buying a roster have been a better use of his money? Or maybe he wasn’t interested in putting a hundred million into a roster because he couldn’t slap his name on it afterwards?

I see that this still hasn’t been refuted. That, combined with continued inactivity in the transfer market and inability to retain players, seems to confirm my suspicions. The idiot “reporters” who are paid by you to “cover” the team tell you whatever BS their “sources” in the program feed them even if they know it’s fantasy talk.

Get a life, loser.
