Since he did his stint in Chicago and is known on this board, thought I would let people know.

Things haven't gone well for 'ol Tim Floyd since he left Iowa State.

UTEP now has to replace both their football and basketball coaches. They just announced their new AD Jim Senter. They'll be starting fresh next season across the board.

Tim Floyd has been plagued by terrible luck, with several no-show recruits and players quitting the team every season. This year it was Kelvin Jones, a key big man quitting right before the season started. Then starting center Matt Willms was injured and out for several weeks, so UTEP lost all their size at the start of the season.

Floyd brings some of this on himself by over-signing players and seemingly running some of them off. But without a doubt he has had some terrible luck. There's too much turmoil and I'm sure it's stressful. Time to give someone else a shot.
