Young was in the game fairly early for a stint, then again later in the half and played 4 minutes in total. So was I and Young came in for the last seconds of the half (probably because one of Duke's big had two fouls) and gave up a layup to Tennessee with poor positioning. I don'T MAKE STUFF UP!
It was the last second basket that ended the half and Young didn't get in front of the guy. Are you ever wrong?Young was in the game fairly early for a stint, then again later in the half and played 4 minutes in total.
There was a play when Duke turned the ball over and Tennessee scored a basket in transition, throwing it ahead to an unguarded guy. Young was 20 feet away, the closest Duke guy behind the play, but it was an uncontested layup or dunk in transition. Your spin on that "gave up a layup with bad defense" was a "just a bit" misleading.
I don’t disagree with the fact that, overall, of course, who has the best players tends to win.Princeton is showing Mizzou how to play basketball
Says the guy who claimed Young played 13 seconds. It was the last second basket that ended the half and Young didn't get in front of the guy. Are you ever wrong?
“Best athletes”, or “most-skilled players”, not best players. Decision-making goes into “best player”, too.I don’t disagree with the fact that, overall, of course, who has the best players tends to win.
But Princeton is showing that so much of basketball comes down to who makes better decisions.
They switched to zone because Roach had 4 fouls. At least that is what the announcers said.I was not paying enough close attention to understand why that zone was never abandoned. Lively might have been in foul trouble and Scheyer did not trust Young?
Anyway, that was some bad zone defense. So much just guarding space.
More 🦵 speed for MN along with excellent 💪 and an intimidating beard 🧔♂️.I like MN over Young
Maybe someone can find and post a link and we can collectively decide who is being inaccurate in their contentions.Says the guy who claimed Young played 13 seconds.
And if Houston goes down, there will be as many 16 seeds still alive as 1 seeds: it would be a tournament record that might never be broken. Two numbers ones out by game 35. it’s almost certainly a record, and a third is at risk in game 36.
I just hope our fellow nerds stick around in Sactown and cheer for the Cats.Arkansas takes Kansas and Princeton is handling Mizzou with threes.
Was just going to post how funny it would be if the two teams to come out of Sacramento were Princeton and Northwestern. Let’s make it happen!I just hope our fellow nerds stick around in Sactown and cheer for the Cats.
