Cats got 32 votes, yay.

Ilini fall from 10 to 14.

What caught my eye is Dayton, #16 last week, lost at 7-0 conference rival Richmond and dropped to #21. Bummer for us and them.

29th is a pretty big jump for NU from not even receiving any votes last week. It'll be tough to move into the top 25 next week without going 2-0, so let's just go 2-0.

There is such a huge war playing out between NU’s borderline top 25 resume (would be solidly top 25 without Chicago state) and our bubble level predictive rankings. The bracketologists are hedging between the two and the voters are oscillating back and forth.

This is weird to say, but being competitive and keeping it tight vs Purdue is a sort of big deal. Lose by like 10 to Purdue and then beat MN by 1 and our predictive will very slightly improve and we may pop into the top 25.
