Kofi was mauled all night. NU players hung on him with no call.
At no point did NU “have” that game. Never led in the second half. Ayo was not going to let Illinois lose.
NU did play well and will be a good team in the future. Illinois will be a good team in the future, too. Lots of young players and the second best recruiting class in the BT coming in. Looking forward to more good games.

It was pretty funny when Coach Underwood told the ref that just because Kofi weighs 300 pounds it doesn't me they aren't fouling him. Kofi is really good.

The Cats were simply trying to prevent the cold-cock(burn)ing of another ref, or themselves, by someone who’s the basketball equivalent of an exuberant bull mastiff. One way is to hang on to him so as to minimize his making and celebrating slam dunks. It’s nothing personal against Kofi. They would do the same if Andre the Giant were playing in the low post.

That was Kofi’s worse game in awhile. I don’t see him on the Undies more than one more year.

Ayo did his part on letting Illinois lose on defense. The young man has no big interest on playing defense.
Didn’t realize Cockburn was from Jamaica. Moved to New York in 2009 with his mom. Played many different sports as a kid. He’s quite an athlete. Guys that big don’t move like that.
