Wildcats trample Blue Jays

Gabriella Flibotte (a name that would resonate on a Hogwarts quidditch roster) had a remarkable game. A mid-air stick steal with a coast to coast goal finish will be on some highlight films. To be fair, I don't think Hopkins brought their A game. Sloppy play and turnovers dug them in a deep hole at the outset, and they never really recovered. I thought the turning point came early in the 1st half with NU up 4-3 when the Bluejays appeared to score the tying goal, only to be erased by a crease violation. A few short minutes later the Cats were up 8-3 and never looked back.
Christina Esposito's play reminded me of another #3, Shannon Smith (also from West Babylon, NY). And Bridget Bianco played a great game in goal.
A satisfying victory, played in decent weather! Just one question in my mind: where is Kara Mupo?
