Wildside

There's your answer. Bring back PurpleWhiteDaughter!
I actually think Dave Revsine's daughter (Class of 2024) deserves a big chunk of credit.
From what I was told, she was the go-to for organizing and promoting postgame social activities.
And if you don't go to the game, don't even think about showing up at the postgame party.

Its the little things.

Thought I’d re-up this thread. Wildside was great last night. Maybe not the peak form of the last two years, but a huge improvement from the Michigan State game. Got into the freshman Queen’s head a little, and the “Angel’s better” chant to Julian Reese was funny. Could have used a little more free-throw disruption — Maryland was something like 19-for-22 from the line. Keep it up, kids!

6/10 Willies from me for the game (for reference, Michigan State would have been a 4/10 on the Willie scale and the Illinois game a 7/10). The Queen stuff was really good.

Much funnier and edgier, with some room for improvement. Kudos in particular to the West stands. 2nd half and OT were trending toward 8/10 Willie’s. Keep up that vibe for the full game and we are in business.

Keep it up for Miller Kopp’s alma mater!

Well it was Retro Night - and apparently retro means the 80s and 90s...

so the "Queen You Suck" chants from the west student section took me back to my NU days, when that sort of tactic was a regular occurrence.

Yeah the West side was what it should be, I'm not sure what the deal is with the East side students, especially given the great example they had across the court. At first I thought it was because MD was shooting at the west side in the 1st half, but they never got that loud in the 2nd either...I was in 101, so had great views of the students really giving it to Queen, made my heart all warm and fuzzy.
