Just crushing Nebby at halftime. Since arguably no one saw the clunker at Penn State on New Year's Eve, perhaps we'll stay ranked if we can maintain the current 20+ pt margin in the second half in a televised game.

Final 85-62. 81 pts from the big four (Coffey/Deary/Lyon/inman) and 8 more steals for Deary, who leads the BIG (and possibly the nation) in steals per game/ Only 10 turnovers despite an uptempo style, crushing a Nebby team that is better than the team (Penn State) to whom we lost on New Year's Eve. So the Penn State disaster might have just been a oddity for a team that, when I have seen them, has looked quite good. They did mention Lauren Douglas' name during the broadcast; doesn't appear that she has been ruled out for the season yet, which is a good sign, since they need the depth in a big way...

The Penn State loss was probably just one of those Unicorn Games. Or, it could be that Penn State curse, for some inexplicable reason.

I hope so. Penn State had two starters who could play, and three that legitimately looked like they had their feet stuck in the sand. And somehow we managed to lose. Total trainwreck. Love the response to that game today, though; the team looked like it was on a mission.

You reach a point where it's going to be tough for her to get back in game condition and mesh with the team. I hope she comes back before then.

For some reason, we seem to insist on making Penn State look super on both the men's and women's sides of the basketball ledger.

Well, on the women's side, there was at least the excuse that PSU was one of the best teams in the league. But they have been a trainwreck for the last year or so...
