if this was going to happen, wouldn't it have happened by now? The board is close to unanimous in the belief that his talents would fit at receiver. There is certainly a need, as Reese and McShep were switched. It's not clear who the third QB is at this point (for the moment Alviti is #2), but Smith now has his RS year under his belt.

Maybe we will see something this spring?

I'm still not convinced he's athletic enough to make the switch.

But we already have a back-up punter - John Moten punted for John Burroughs and wasn't half bad.
