The team format of the Zurich Classic has not appealed to a lot of players. I imagine it will suffer in the future, as it is unlikely to ever be a "designated event". Last week's RBC Heritage had an amazingly strong field -9/10 of Top 10(Rory missing) because of its' designated status ($20 million purse). Harbour Town has always been a player(family) favorite but it suffered from being the week after The Masters but not this year. I worry about continued sponsorship of the lesser tournaments. I believe Honda pulled out of their commitment and I fear others will follow. The fan favorites are only going to play the big money events and majors. The lesser tournaments despite having good golfers but no "stars" will be in trouble
