Summer Camps

There is a good article over at InsideNU about the experiences of Bryant and Tre at the Curry and LBJ camps, respectively.

Yet another benefit of having the Collins family at NU: they have the connections to get their guys into these selective camps. Doug worked the Curry camp. Got to believe LeBron's people answer the phone (or at least read the text) from Chris. Another little advantage that makes NU attractive to recruits I bet.

Tre's father is the GM of the Hornets. Tre participated in camps with Chris Paul prior to Collins coming on. So while Collins may have been an influence for Bryant I do not know if that is necessarily the case for Tre.
