I liked the hire. My biggest concern was how he would handle not having bigger, stronger players than his opponents. Also helped to have the best QB at that level.
Defense has looked fine against 2 piss poor offenses. Duke receivers had countless drops that killed drives.
Things can potentially get ugly next year and without a bowl game this year the AD is going to have to make a choice. I’m guessing that buyout isn’t anything too big. We will be going into Year 3 of the SEC/B1G revenue gap. Might be the right time to make as big of a splash as you can.
Wright has been touted as a runner but he has no strength at all and for a fast guy he gets easily caught behind the line more often than not. Either he can’t get up to speed quickly or he’s not actually fast.
