we won’t win another game this year.

Lujan simply not ready for prime time (sorry to WLP and others who called him a wunderkind), and certainly not capable of making do with lesser talent relative to the competition.

I am also not sure Braun is the guy. Had a heck of a year last year but I fear a talent drop off in the coming years that will hamstring NU further.

Would love to be wrong and sneak into a bowl at 5-7 but sadly I don’t see it. Wish we had the Duke W.

Anyone in the know hear of potential changes in the athletic department or his key initiatives? I know revenue and NIL were mentioned by him directly, but any solid outcomes? Not sure the caliber of Gragg's hires, but I know we lost a lot of talent when JP left. I'm not even sure we have a marketing team anymore as that seems to have evaporated under the previous AD.

These past few games, I have not noticed Wright in TV shots of Lausch (or of anyone else, for that matter) on the sidelines. Wondering how he has taken his demotion. Would he be the guy to step in at QB if an emergency? Don't know if there's any significance at all in the fact that Hilinski took the final snaps.

NCAA to increase scholarship limits for all sports

This will be a massive change. It will effectively eliminate walk-ons if my understanding is correct. Will also be a real litmus test for NU. Will Northwestern award the maximum number of scholarships for each sport? The increases in football, baseball and softball will be very costly when taking into account the cost of NU tuition, room and board. Will we be able to compete?
