As several people pointed out, the skinny post tying TD was reminiscent of Sam Simmons against Michigan in 2000. Two plays before the TD, Henning fought for yards on a reception on an inside screen that got a first down and saved the game from ending. It was very similar to a 4th down catch and run by Chad Hanaoka against Nebraska on the no-timeout drive that tied that game in 2018. Incidentally, that drive also included a personal foul that greatly helped keeping things moving forward.
