Hmmmm.... We could make the yard numbers fuzzy and change the fight song to a certain Jimmi Hendrix song... We could go for all purple unis and hope the players would be invisible from the opponent's coaches booth ( and the upper deck). Anyway, it would look better than MSU, where the occasional all green unis blend in blandly with the field.
If they ever invented a turf, that was demonstrably safer than natural grass, it might be worth looking into. The gold stripes are part of what makes that pop and that is not our color. Maybe Purple end zones or something.
Not at LSU. I understand they will have the field just like that for Spring FB. Not sure if also next Fall.

Might be okay in November, but you wouldn't want to play on black turf in September ... or even be close to the field.
Your not kidding about that! One of the advantages of natural turf on a hot sunny day.
