btw, Va, before I go searching through the archives - are you one of those that has stood strong against posters speaking poorly of players? Past and present? I really hope the answer you are not one of those otherwise add Hypocrite to your growing list of titles (all the BC players that you have been disparaging thank you for your kind words).

Your memory is correct xyz. Virginia was the feaux outraged guy when anyone made a quip about a player. Then after they graduated that changed. Then it was ok to denigrate turner and Abrahamson and others, but not vassar or any other less productive kid.
Hypocrisy, pure and simple.
Basically, “How dare you talk about a student athlete,” to “Our former players sucked,” to “How dare you badmouth a CC recruit.”
Let’s talk more about that win over Vanderbilt in the NCAA tournament!

When Ash takes us to the final four, this will be my finest hour as a wildcat alum, Nclub Member, poster on here, and beloved by many. I have been locked down three times since the 2012 season but it will all be worth the pain if my beloved NU hoops team makes the final four with Jordan Ash, not Jordan Lathon, leading the way.
Gee, Va, how about justify the apparent hypocrisy? Tell us, where do you stand on posters critiquing current NU players? And where do you stand on posters being critical of former NU players? That corner is getting smaller - maybe it is time to simply be a little humble???
Hypocrisy? You checked the archives right? I’ve always felt players should be allowed to be critiqued over performances, and have done so many times in the past myself.
