Well, I made it to Assembly Hall. This place is HUGE. They have the media way up in the Bob Ueker seats. It's easily the furthest I've ever been from a basketball floor. It feels like about the same distance I'd be from the field in the Ryan Field pressbox. It seems like a mile. But at least I'm at center court.

It's a bizarrely shaped arena. The sideline stands go up forever. TV broadcasts don't do a good job of conveying the scale. There are also massive protruding concrete structures behind each basket. The lobby and concourse and lobby areas are beautiful, all brand new glass and steel. You can tell they were just recently added.

We're minutes to tip. It will be interesting to see how the Cats come out on defense.

Ugly, ugly basketball to start the game. The teams combined for four turnovers and eight missed shots until Falzon finally hit a 3 for the first points of the game at the 16:22 mark. NU is playing that 2-3 zone again, daring IU to shoot from the outside.

The Cats have hit one of their first 12 shots from the floor and have four turnovers to trail 8-3 at the under 12 timeout. They've missed six straight and haven't scored in 4:34.

Not the start they were looking for.

Some absolutely awful basketball, hope noone left the channel on after the NFL game.

Lindsey 0-for-8 with a couple of turnovers. If he turns it around in the second half, Cats have a shot.

This is a real not sarcastic question. Does anyone remember a game where Lindsey had a slow start and bounced back to have a nice game? I truly don’t remember one.

Big if.
