Golf is back

Nice job to win the consolation bracket and come in third place at the B1G Match Play event this weekend. Credit Pat Goss with some great coaching to get the kids ready to play after real adversity with the defection of the #1 player in the world from the team. Real solid contribution from kids at the bottom of the lineup too which was great to see.

Speaking of ranked (for now) players, what is up with Luke? Did he not play Torrey Pines or Riviera? Bounced in first round of match play? What, is he just doing the wine and children thing?

Luke played a couple of events in the Middle East and did so so-- made the cut but not great finishes. This week was his first PGA event. Keep in mind he's still struggling with a radically new swing and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for that. But I think his best days may be behind him.

Oh, say it ain't so. He just got the PGA playoffs on his home course!

He seems to perform at the Masters better than the other majors. Hopefully he rights the ship in time.
