Luke Donald is back with Pat Goss-- the combination that took him to #1 in the world. The radical swing change obviously didn't work. I believe Luke will be climbing the rankings again soon!

Very good news. Early on it looked like his entire short game was edge rating after making the swing changes.

Indeed. Keep in mind also that these two guys are best of friends and continued to be so even after Luke decided to work with Chuck Cook. He also continued to do short game work with Pat all the while.

I look forward to seeing Luke playing in that pairing with other major champs at the PGA at Whistling Straits next August.

Luke's success was based on great iron play, spectacular putting and bunker prowess. His weakness was that he was a short inaccurate driver. He tried to improve his long game , that failed and unfortunately, his iron game deteriorated.

I hope he regains his touch, finds some fairways and wins next year
