And who will it be? I say Illinois. if two, Illinois and Michigan. They will surprise.
If we get five wins - is there still
Hope for a bowl game via the academic rankings if there are bowls left???
Appreciate your optimism but there is absolutely zero chance that this NU team is going to be only the second one to beat OSU in 50 YEARS. Granted I wouldn’t have picked the 2004 team either but that team also has some very key players from Ohio - Backes, Philmore, Strief and Herron from Michigan who likely had no love for Ohio. After today, Michigan appears they may be the more beatable team. OSU appears beatable this year., they are good but not great. Could it be us, a Wrigley surprise? Call me crazy--we can hope.
Let’s remember-we had to go to OT to beat the worst team in the Big Ten. The chance of us picking up a W against three legit B10 teams will require LOTS of hope. After today, Michigan appears they may be the more beatable team. Ohio State. If we beat Ohio State, I will be content. And who will it be? I say Illinois. if two, Illinois and Michigan. They will surprise.
Illinois had to stop a two point conversion attempt in overtime to beat Purdue and that was at Champaign. We'll be underdogs in that one, but it's a winnable game.Let’s remember-we had to go to OT to beat the worst team in the Big Ten. At this point, i don't see a choice but to be optimistic. You know, it can't hurt. I'm certain the players would want us to be.Appreciate your optimism but there is absolutely zero chance that this NU team is going to be only the second one to beat OSU in 50 YEARS. And NU has a history of discombobulating Illinois.Illinois had to stop a two point conversion attempt in overtime to beat Purdue and that was at Champaign. We'll be underdogs in that one, but it's a winnable game.
And Kirtz back.Pray for cold, windy and wet with a tornado or two. Amen.
If we get the weather from 2 years ago then I think we could pull it out this time with Lausch running and Porter/Himon short passing game like yesterday!Pray for cold, windy and wet with a tornado or two. Amen.
