Had to start a new thread since the AD thread is spiraling. One of the major arguments against Polisky is football attendance. Just for comparison sakes, Stanford is around 84%, NU is around 74% and Duke is around 67%. What other P5 private schools are there with undergraduate enrollment below 8,500? Miami and TCU are next closest I think (without doing tons of research). TCU is 90%+ attendance. Miami is around 86%.
The missing piece of data is how many fans from opposing schools. All anecdotal. Other than Miami and TCU, I’d venture to say NU, Stanford and Duke have large opposing fan attendance, especially the big names that help drive up average attendance (eg Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio State for NU games).
