I had a tight airline connection for a red eye back to Washington DC. I planned on getting an Uber after the game but I could not find one and the staff kept directing me to God knows where.
Desperately, I was begging for a ride to downtown San Diego but with little success. I finally asked a gentleman in NU gear for a ride. He was actually a Chicago native, currently in the Navy, but went to the game to support "Chicago's B1G Team"
He then proceeded to make a few illegal u-turns and was on the freeway in a minute, avoiding the post game traffic. He dropped me off at the airport and I made my flight back home
He hopes to attend Kellogg after his Navy career
