Cats get it done! 2-0 shutout by Williams against Indiana, a 1-hitter. Next up is winner of Minny-Purdue.

And it's Minny, is a squeaker, unfortunately. Michigan also one an extra-inning nailbiter vs. Illinois. Will be a tough one tomorrow as our ace pitched the whole game today (albeit facing the minimum # of batters) but their ace only pitched part of the game and should be fresher assuming both start.

Played Minny in a three game series last week last week to end regular season. They won last two. We won opener. Their ace was way too good. This is big trouble. Those were our first two losses after 20 straight wins. Have you been hiding under a rock?

And we decide to rest Danielle Williams in the semifinal today, hoping to start her in the final today I guess Strategy not paying off so far, as we're down 3-0 already in the second. Baseball still leading Rutgers 2-0, though, now in the top of the 7th.

And softball loses, 4-0, MInny's ace has just been unhittable. Basball wins by the same score, though, and all of a sudden it is getting interesting for them with game 2 on tap at Rutgers. Softball moves on to the NCAAs...
