I feel bad for @lou v over the defeat in Detroit; however I no longer have to dread the thought of JON and BJo wearing Super Bowl rings…that would have been tough to stomach. Guess I’m all in on Washington, I’m assuming Jason Wright would get a ring?

Cowboys have won a bunch of Super Bowls, or at least a few. Not only have the Lions not won a Super Bowl but they hadn’t made it out of the wildcard round in over 30 years. This one hurt.

The Lions will be back… if they find a better quarterback than Jared Goff, aka California’s Jake Delhomme.

Goff had a bad game, but I don't think the Lions are limited with him. The injuries on the defense made it seem like he had to make plays in order to win these games. I believe that forced him to try make plays that he should have not tried. I may be wrong, but I won't write the guy off yet.

Either Campbell or Goff is a loser. The Lions have Two early postseason exits when that team is Loaded with talent, this time with homefield advantage in a dome.

Even the Bears made a Super Bowl with terrible Rex Grossman as their QB. 😂

Actually this year they had high expectations and a loss in the early round last year in 2023 No one expected them to go as far as they did playing in the NFC title game which they should have easily have won being up 24 to 10 at halftime.

I feel bad for the Lions' fans. I was pulling for the Lions and the Buffalo Bills this weekend, since both teams have such tortured histories. Hopefully the Bills can get past Mahomes and the Chiefs on Sunday.

Actually this year they had high expectations and a loss in the early round last year in 2023 No one expected them to go as far as they did playing in the NFC title game which they should have easily have won being up 24 to 10 at halftime.

The Lions have drafted very well and are a loaded team. They should have beaten the 49ers last year and had a better chance to beat the Eagles than the Commanders do.

Last year, Campbell’s decision making cost them. This year? Goff’s turnovers.

Agreed. As an indifferent fan, Bills vs Lions would have been the best story.

Bingo. The D was not stopping anything and the Lions were playing from behind after their first score was answered. There is no way they even get to this game without Goff. Maybe a mobile QB would be great but he’d have to have the matching accuracy and touch of Goff. Who knows, maybe Jayden Daniels is that surprise next great QB.

Daniels sure looked like the real deal Saturday night. Made great decisions and throws when he needed to and showed some nice speed on those edge runs. Who knows if he will end up better than Caleb but first returns are impressive.

Caleb and Jaden will be battling each other for top Qb in the league for a long time.

Bottom line, without having by far the most defensive injuries in the NFL, the Lions could have been even with the Commanders and not had to pressure the throws so much.

Burrow, Allen, Jackson and Mahomes aren't going anywhere anytime soon. And Caleb is in a tough spot in Chicago. Has a long way to go under less than ideal circumstances to do for the Bears what Daniels has already done for the Commanders.
