Next up is cornerback. I think this one will come down to Chris Martin or Sherrick McManis. Those two, plus Montre Hartage in 2018, are the only first-team All-Big Ten corners NU has had over the last 25 years. Harold Blackmon, Marquice Cole and Nick VanHoose were second-team picks. Jordan Mabin was a two-time honorable mention honoree. Matt Harris made third-team once. Blackmon and McManis were the only two who were drafted during this period.
I think Martin, McManis and Hartage are shoo-ins. Should we add Blackmon -- in my opinion the best of "the rest"? Or should we just go with the top three?
