One week after a very disappointing Masters, Luke Donald's got his game back. A spectacular second straight 66 has him ahead by 2 going to the final round tomorrow. He rammed in lots of birdie putts but his shot of the day came at the tough 18th where everybody was having major problems all day becuz it was playing into a stiff wind. (only two birdies for the field). Luke hit a hybrid two iron about 200 yards for his second shot and nearly hit the flag on the fly. Wound up with a routine par, but that was a really good score there today. Hope he can finish it off tomorrow.

Fantastic performance by Luke on Moving Day. Also, Matt Fitzpatrick is looking good in the tourney. He's in 19th place going into the last round.

Harbortown is a unique course on thePGA. It is not long but you can hit 14 fairways and not have a clear shot to the green because of the overhanging live oaks. 3 putting is virtually impossible because the greens are small without a lot of contours. The signature 18th hole was much more difficult 20 years ago when the tee was next the 17th green. The old tee shot was parallel to the OB on the right, now the tee has been moved 100 yard to the left, almost into Calibogue Sound. The tee shot now plays to an enormously wide fairway and I have not seen a drive go OB since the tee was moved. A marsh abuts the green on the left but only on an extremely high tide will water be present.up and down from the marsh is not too hard.

The par 3 14th used to have a pot bunker, back left, that had a ladder to get in and out-that was truly a hazard as your next shot was toward the lagoon .

Everything you say is true. But I've heard at least a dozen tour players this week say that 18 is amongst the toughest holes they've ever played on the PGA tour--still.
