Malik Washington

Was the best player in the first Shrine Bowl practice. Doesn’t attract the best college players but reports said he was dominant. Looks like he could be a 3rd or 4th round pick. Too bad we struggled at qb when he was at NU. Definitely under utilized.
Wish he came into the program with more meat on his bones. He weighed as much as I do when he was recruited, but an inch taller. I am of slender build. He needed to be 20 lbs heavier coming in to take a B1G type of hit. I hover around 165-170lbs. He was in that range when recruited, maybe a tad heavier.

Malik ran 4.47 at the Combine. What irks me is that they always say he’s from Virginia, which I get, but he was a Cat for three years too. He’ll be drafted for sure.

It’ll be interesting to see which school he reps in the NFL.

He developed at NU, but became an All American at Vagina.
