I don’t see this new format lasting all that long for this reason. Rematches in these kind of games absolutely suck.

Except that Washington would be playing Michigan if both are 12-0 next year.

Adding USC, Oregon, Washington, and UCLA means that rematches won't be that likely.

There may be rematches, but I doubt it'll happen that often.
