This is from November 4, 1963. There must be others, although probably not about Football.

I went to google images. Typed in Craig Sager SI cover. Click on one. right clicked on the pic copy image address click on the picture in rivals right click and paste. I'm in google chrome. I don't know how mine are the size they are.

I did not know that other famous NU alum Paul Lynde was on the cover of SI. He does look like him though.

I didn't even realize Sager is a NU alum. Bryant Gumbel's HBO show a few weeks had a really moving story on him and his battle against cancer. He's been through hell, and yet he continues to stay positive and optimistic. He's spent some time here in Houston at MD Anderson getting treatment, and he was on the TNT broadcast here during the Final Four. Thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
