OT: Bam Cunningham Passes

Sam “Bam” Cunningham, former great fullback at USC, has passed at 71. It was Cunningham’s four TDS vs Alabama in 1970 that reportedly convinced Bear Bryant he needed to integrate his team. Hard to believe in 1970, when I was a 13-year-old fan just learning to love college football, that the entire SEC was still all-white.
