Paterno statue

Every single person that signed that letter supports enabling the rape of children.

My question is - if not child rape, then what is a serious enough crime to warrant the disbanding of a football program? Private email server with top secret info?

The guy harbored a serial child molester. This really shouldn't be a debate. PSU should have gotten the death penalty and the current players allowed to transfer out.
The should also have been kicked out of the Big Ten.

Nah everybody does that. Just ask Bush.

"Shame on the Penn State alums who put their idolatry of one coach over the safety of kids and the healing of victims," said David Clohessy, director of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests. "University officials should never restore the Paterno statue, and these ex-players should move on."

I have to agree. Hadn't heard before about the charges against the admin officials being dismissed.

Some but not all. The charges were dismissed because a PSU attorney who testified before the grand jury should not have testified about her privileged conversations with the trio.

It seems to me that the remaining charges will be a tough sell to a jury.

Hey, speaking of harboring rapists, to quote Irwin R. Fletcher: "Well, I'm not even sure that's a crime anymore. There've been a lot of changes in the law."

I hear there's a convention soon in Philly.
