Anyone have any information on seating/sight lines/lower level vs.club level vs.upper deck at the Music City Bowl? I would buy my tickets through the NU allotment but you never know where you will be sitting. I contacted my season ticket rep at NU and she wasn't able to provide much information. There appear to be a large number of seats available through the various ticket services.

Check out the "A View from My Seat" website for actual photos from various points in the stadium.

For what it's worth, the club (200 level) seats are about $100 more than the lower/100 level, which was surprising...

Taking a guess here, but based on the lack of seats in these sections, I️ would expect sections 130-131, 136-144, and 229-231, 237-241 are the NU allocation. So buying thru NU could be the luck of the draw ( priority points) as there is a big difference between section 136 and section 144 (end zone). Doesn’t look like 300 level seats are even an option.

Anyone know the method in which they prioritize NU requests?

They told me by priority points - so you don't know your section or seat at purchase. I decided it was worth $40/seat to know where I was sitting and bought mine on Stubhub. I tried to work with the school, but they had their protocol in place and I had options so....

Those are the sections, also including 129.

Everyone who puts in a request before noon on Friday is assigned seats in priority point order. So yes, it's possible that you could end up several sections away from your request. In my recent experience, though, if you have a decent number of points, you'll get close to your desired location. Make sure you tell NU what you want - preferred section, proximity to the field, etc. - when you order.

Maybe we can be buddies with the guy with the highest points and he/she can buy a block of 20.

StubHub has lower sideline behind NU bench going for $100 or less (sections 132-135).
To each his own but I am glad to pay more and go through the NU ticket office. Sitting in a group of NU fans makes the game more enjoyable for me. Being isolated in a group of opposing fans just does not do it for me, even if the location is better. Just my $.02. See you all there and Go 'Cats!

Within reason would agree with this. However, I️ don’t want to be in section 142, seems like a crap shoot. Anyone have an idea what a decent number of points is? I️ think I️ am less than 100.

Coral, he's on the NU side, and I will be as well soon. Waiting to hear from GOUNUII before I buy. When are you arriving? I'm staying at the Hilton at the Airport.

I’m arriving on Thursday afternoon. Waiting on ticket purchase as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Purple Party.

I just bought 50 yardline seats in Section 135 adjacent to the first NU Section 136

I also spoke with my ticket rep in case that good seats would be available through NU but again there was no way to determine where your seats would be

I don't want to invest $2K and sit in the endzone

I believe Section 335 seats will be available for the budget minded. You can see plays develop from the upper deck

If you go on Ticketmaster right now, you can pick your own seat at the stadium.

There's no reason NU couldn't grant "pick your seat" access in the NU allotment RIGHT NOW - instead of waiting until Friday (or whenever) - grant early access to anyone with X points or more, and then continue granting access on a sliding scale. Honestly...I would have likely bought from NU under these circumstances and paid more than I needed to just for the sake of supporting the program.

As it is, I paid $82 per seat in Section 133. On Ticketmaster, these same seats are $150 plus fees.

So wait, which site did you use to purchase tickets? Ticketmaster or... Ticketmaster?

I think the $150 got you a 3 hour “private” party with beer/wine and Buffett.

vividseats.com - big box ticket broker like StubHub, I just choose to use Vivid because they are a Chicago company.

In my earlier post I was just mentioning Ticketmaster because unlike buying through NU...you can just pick your damn seat. None of this, "trust us, we use purple points" business.

Yeah. This isn’t 1990. Ticket office needs to move into the 21st century.

For those on a budget, there are currently tickets for $7 on StubHub (sec 328) - and I'm sure the stadium will be half full, so moving around will be pretty easy. Personally, I plan to wait until a few days before the game and look for 50 yard line seats (sec 135 adjacent to a NU section). Guessing they will be $50-$60/ticket by then.

Same here. Folks acting like they’ll not be in NU sections if they don’t buy through the school don’t know what they are talking about.

The upper decks are a seriously strenuous climb.
The club level has a very nice club area which is heated and you can step in out of the weather if things are dicey.
The site lines generally are good. I have sat everywhere in that stadium from the 45 yard line to the back of the end zone. Always felt that I had a pretty good view.

And that is where you will find me - all battered and bruised from the beatings taken at the Purple Party beforehand...

I paid $90/ticket for Section 135 Row W-I like being up a little bit rather than at field level.

I agree that ticket prices will decline as game day approaches
