Hate to take anything away from Porter and the Line but, Relative to how they were shutting down the run the whole game, I have to agree.

Or our offensive line just got angry. Some aggression on their blocks during that drive. Love it.
Might have something to do with the threat of Ramsey running. Also I think they just gave up too.
We wore them down with smash mouth B1G football.
It’s called wearing a defense out in the second half. That’s why you keep running the ball in the first half even if you are not gaining a lot of yards. Every body blow wears out the defense and that yields dividends in the second half.

Auburn has brought the wood a few times, but we have been more physical. I also think we are better conditioned.
Momentum matters, and offensive lines eventually do get push later in games if they stick with it. We've seen this before.
Oddly reminds me of that Rutgers game in 2018 where it was just a matter of time until our running game got going.

Would imagine a fair bit of that is our players staying on campus while theirs took 2 weeks off to go home.

This might end up being the most viewed Northwestern win ever. We'll see, but the Citrus Bowl typically pulls in big ratings (ABC on Jan 1 before the BCS/NY6 bowls).
