For some reason I am having difficulty transferring the photos from my iPhone I took at the Purple Party, but in the meantime here are a few taken with the Nikon SLR in the stadium before and after the game:

The National Anthem is sung as fireworks explode, the Northwestern Marching Band takes the field, and the Spirit Team brings on the Wildcat "Banner:"

And here are the postgame shots as the team approaches the Northwestern section to join in singing "Go You Northwestern" along with additional celebratory scenes.

(FWIW, I had met the pictured below Stormy, who was the game's sideline reporter and who is seen on the awards podium, in Hawaii at my youngest daughter's wedding which she attended as a close friend - small world.)
