Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse it does the idiots from Standard Parking have blocked all tailgaters in at the south lot worse than the soldier field parking for the Illinois game go figure same incompetents doing it.

I don't understand your complaint. Somebody started tailgating early and had a few adult beverages, it seems.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it does. The idiots from Standard Parking have blocked all tailgaters in at the south lot (what does this mean??). This is worse than the Solider Field parking experience during the Illinois game. Go figure, it's the same incompetent people/company.
They gave some form that our cars would be stuck in the lot after the game. I didn’t read it and my wife took the car out early with the kids.
This sounds like the 25-30 minute hold on exiting the East Lot after the game is complete to let walking traffic clear the stadium, or at least the majority of waling traffic. This has been the practice for several years.
After the game last night where were you expecting to rush out of the parking lot to? Unless your vehicle could hover, you weren’t going anywhere. All parking lots had the normal 30-45 minute hold. NU just hasn’t had a sellout in a while.
I believe he was complaing how they were parking people in on the north end of the lot. They squeezed 4 rows of cars in a space that previously had just 2, making it cramped and nearly impossible for those who arrived first in the lot to leave. If someone parked in the 3rd row didn’t return right after the game, some folks in rows 1 and 2 were gonna be stuck.
Cracked the parking code, so to speak, so have never had any issues.
Some people nearby were fuming though. One lady said she paid $200(?) for handicapped parking only to be turned away an hour before gametime because they overbooked.
Another boarded a handicapped FB shuttle 45 minutes pre-kick. Didn’t arrive until after kickoff. Shuttle dropped off one (non-handicapped) family on South Campus. Then drove past RF and wouldn’t let people off until near WRA because the ops lady needed to “count”. This on a bus with vomit over the aisle and people requesting to get off.
Both threatening not to renew and one screaming angrily and vowing to call the AD. 2 sides to every story but they’ll need to make adjustments or communicate better moving forward.
