Just amazing. Spencer Allen has done the most with the least of any NU coach this season. After starting the season 1-9, to get the team to the BTT Championship is just remarkable. He should be a lock for Big 10 Baseball COTY.

Dr. Jim has done a great job hiring coaches. Every single hire has been an inspired one. You don't look at his hires and think, "Blech" like you do with the Illini's recent hires in various sports. We've reached a point at which very few coaches are pre-Jim hirings (funnily enough, Fitz being one of the holdovers) and it's no surprise that we have contended in so many sports.
