This is the former "Northwestern College" in the Twin Cities, to be distinguished from the "Northwestern College" in Orange City, Iowa. But their new name is silly.

Seems to be. I cover D-2 and lots of teams' pages are identical. They use the same host or whatever

That is exactly what happened. At some point fairly recently, they opened a second college and also added graduate degrees.

Usually these types of changes are branding opportunities, and it is a bit surprising this school did not consider a name change given the awkward moniker it now bears.

The reason he is so blessed, is UNW is a Christian school. Just up the road from me, in Roseville. Glades would have fit in well there back in the day.
