New City of Evanston Vaccine Requirement

Northwestern Athletics, in accordance with the Evanston Health and Human Services Department's recent mitigation, has announced that a vaccine requirement will go into effect on Monday, January 10, 2022, for all indoor sporting events. The measure will remain in effect until further notice.

All guests and working personnel ages five and older will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test taken within 24 hours of the event.

Face masks continue to be required and must be worn during all home indoor athletic events, per Northwestern Athletics Fan COVID-19 Policies.

Guests must provide one of the following to gain entry to a Northwestern Athletics indoor event:

• COVID-19 vaccination card (actual card or picture of)
• Screenshot of COVID-19 vaccination record from pharmacy (e.g., CVS, Walgreens)
• Screenshot of negative result of a COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test (results from at-home tests not accepted)
Guests 16 years and older should be prepared to show a picture ID to verify ownership of the vaccination card or negative test result.

Individuals who cannot provide proof of vaccination or a valid negative COVID-19 test result according to the conditions outlined above will not be allowed to enter a Northwestern Athletics indoor event.

Northwestern students should continue to follow the University's January Wildcat Wellness policy through Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 8 a.m. Students will be permitted to show vaccination status via the University's symptom tracker app.
