Fitz, referring to the problems on third and short in the Minnesota game. After nearly five years of difficulty on third down, it is reassuring that those problems are being corrected this morning. In fairness, Fitz did acknowledge the on-going problems at OL and WR. Hopefully this off season, these will be addressed more seriously than in the past. It would be great to see the offense that this could be, with Clayton and JJ.

Did the topic of Carr's getting targeted come up? Have to assume he is as mad about it as the fanbase is.

Yes, but Fitz basically said if you're going to play the game scared, it's not your game--play video games.

That said, I don't think anyone is too happy with this guy on Minnesota that keeps doing this.

Do you think he was answering a direct question or just now realized the importance of converting on third down?
