We have examined the talent. Nebraska is definitely beatable. Wisconsin has their star running back somewhat hurt and is breaking in a new coach. I like Iowa's QB and the Hawkeyes have a solid defense. Minny has no real offense. Right now,my top four are

1) Northwestern
2) Iowa
3) Wisky
4) Nebraska

What say you cat fans?

I say you can add Minny to the list and you have the list of favorites for the West.

It's basically wide open. I think the Stave's improvement this year makes Wisky dangerous as they also play good defense. Their running game probably will get better as their line gets more time together and Clement returns. Our defense should give us a chance to win about any game this year, but we also have a chance to lose any game unless the offense becomes more well-rounded. We're not going to move the ball consistently against Iowa, Wisky, Penn State and Michigan without a passing game.

I just hope we have a greater than three point lead over Iowa in the closing minutes. That kick was insane.

Or "most of the western division," which is likely your point.

It's going to be an interesting year in the west. Great opportunity to steal some wins with a solid D and shaky O.

I think it's going to come down to matchups and probably a tiebreaker. No team in the west is going to run the table so it's pretty wide open at this point. The key will be to limit big ten losses to other teams in the west so we own the tiebreakers if it comes down to two teams being 6-2.
