Will Joe Gaz keep NU's NFL Draft streak alive?

If DE Joe Gaziano is selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, it will mark the sixth straight year a Wildcat was picked.

Will Gaziano continue Northwestern's NFL Draft streak?

Hope Gaz keeps it going on Saturday. While NU hasn't had a too many players drafted compared to other schools, it's worth noting that all of players who have been drafted in the last 5 years have stuck and are still in the league, with all but Thorson on active rosters (at least as of the end of last season - not sure about Campbell's current status.) Not to mention Lancaster who wasn't drafted but now seems to have a pretty comfortable spot in Green Bay.

I don't know if he does because teams in the later rounds tend to value ceiling more than floor. That said among draft eligible players its not wise to totally ignore production. Among 2020 draft eligible players from FBS schools:

This jives with my experience of watching Gaz. It was incredible how often he made the big sack or forced a fumble just when we needed it.
