WTF Burger King?

Went to the BK late at night too many times (all the way from North campus) during my time.

Hey, it was cheap and usually spent too much $$ drinking my way across bars in Chicago; the Sandwich guy (RIP) was a lot more convenient, but too pricey due to the constant need to fill my belly (looking back, wish had tried his sandwiches a few times).

It was no Buffalo Joe's (but that was too far away if one didn't drive).

Interesting enough, think I went to the McDonald's in Evanston just once, despite knowing the guy whose family owned that franchise and a bunch of others.

Actually, I just looked at his Twitter feed for the first time, and his wife and mother-in-law are in the hospital, the MIL in ICU. I really feel for the guy.

No wonder he is stressed out.

Whoever you are, guy, I hope you get good news soon.

Sorry to hear that and I hope his family makes a full recovery.

Now that I see this guy is a big Cats fan, I went from thinking he's a doofus to liking him, or at least sympathizing with his family's health challenges. I wish there was something we could do for him. Burger King coupons?
