If (when) a new HC is hired there is no obligation to honor the assistant contracts.I think they will keep the coaches for lawsuit reasons for the length of their contracts
He better be LaMar Jackson if you think it will be any different.Still no Sully
Different outcome in the game, probably not. A more effective, less predictable offense, probably so.He better be LaMar Jackson if you think it will be any different.
"All of our goals are in front of us."With 11 losses last year and 12 coming this year,we possibly could lose 35 in a row by Thanksgiving 2024.
But I'm pretty sure the solution isn't.Not sure the problem is Bryant.
"That wasn't us out there .. ""All of our goals are in front of us."
It's like Rutgers baited that throw.
If LaMar Jackson transfers in we might be able to generate an offensive. There was no baiting. Bryant completely missed the window for that throw between the underneath CB and the safety. He under-threw the ball by five yards and needed more loft on it.
All the more reason to fire Schill and Ggarg now so we'll have somebody better in place for next season.I’m headed out of the stadium…we got Schi(killed)! You know what the worst thing about this whole festival of incompetence? Gragg is responsible for hiring the next coach! Shoot me now!
It's still the Fitz era, he's just not the coach anymore. The post-Fitz era looks awfully familiar.
This is sad to see.
Not a coach on the field today will ever be seen again at NU after this season. If (when) a new HC is hired there is no obligation to honor the assistant contracts.
This is so much worse than I thought we would look, although I don't know why I allowed myself some optimism.
The house needs to be cleaned and it probably would have needed to be cleaned almost as much even if Fitz was still here - OC/QB, OL, LB, strength coach. I liked the new hires at DC, DL, WR but unfortunately those guys will all go and I feel bad for them since they just got here.
First move to save this program is to can Gragg. Not a coach on the field today will ever be seen again at NU after this season.
Why would anyone (with options) agree to work for Schill and Gragg? I wouldn't recommend it, even to my worst enemy.First move to save this program is to can Gragg.
Braun won't pull the QB in his first game as Head coach. He decided to start Bryant and I think it is the right thing to do to give him a full game to prove himself worthy of another start. Based on today's offensive performance, I think every starting position should be subject to change ahead of game 2, including the QB.Still no Sully
It is very bad, no doubt, but we will lose more than 10 players after this seasonThis coaching is a sh@tshow. Bought these mercenaries who aren't worth a damn. We will lose 10 players after this season. Plus we won't recruit a darn thing.
Agreed. Anderson has done nothing to develope an offensive line. He was fortunate to coach two exceptional OT's. Other than that, I've seen no promise in any of his units. But some fans say Anderson is the greatest thing sliced bread?
Hard to defend him at this point.Agreed. Anderson had done nothing to develope an offensive line. He was fortunate to coach two exceptional OT's. Other than that, I've seen no promise in any of his units.
The targeting calls should have been overturned. Good job by the refs.To targeting calls against Rutgers that were called back even the refs are working against us
Sullivan should have played the entire second half.At least Sullivan can run out of the pocket. We finally get into the red zone. Let’s avoid a shutout. Don’t want to be Rutgers first BT shutout.
