MSU next Sunday is a must win

We have to somehow survive the next few weeks and then the schedule eases up.
Next 3 games:

Mich St
Maryland
at Michigan

We have to win at least 1 of these, 1-6 in conference would be the knockout punch.

Indiana
at Illinois

Somehow someway, we need to be at least 3-6, preferably 4-5 (hold serve at home) before the schedule is to our favor.

Sign Of The Times

So the target has changed....used to be " yeah I was on the football team at Milford High and got a scholarship at State U...had a great time, meet some great friends, got a diploma, worked my butt off in two a days....in 98 we beat Better State U...great experience, great memories"....wear your jersey around the neighborhood.... Now it is I need a path to the pros..one way or the other.

Purdue shines light on Northwestern's flaws in 79-61 defeat

"I was playing the guys that I thought were competing," Collins said. "I was trying to find a group that was going to fight."

I think he is damning Ty, Big Matt and Luke with this comment. Very unusual for CCC to call out his experienced players like this.

Good.

I re-watched the game and I saw effort and confusion from the players.

I also saw a lack of preparation, a lack of useful adjustments and a lot of frustrated looks from the head coach.

The inability of anyone on our team to defend Braden Smith is cause for concern - because it is clear that Leach and Berry aren't quick enough to defend quick point guards. We saw the exact same situation against Dayton. From a defensive perspective, thats why we lost so badly - it wasn't due to lack of effort.
