Best decision by Braun was starting Lausch to let him work through any struggles

Hey douche bag, I know you are barely literate but if you bother going back to reread what I wrote, I said playing Lausch gives NU the “best chance” to get off the transfer portal. I didn’t say it was going to happen. I am perfectly aware of how much development he still needs. Come to think of it, don’t bother. just F off and slink back to your board.
To be fair, he did say best chance. A 2% chance is still better than the rest of the room that registers less than 1% collectively.

Challenge Mode: Say Something Nice About the Offense

Your challenge is to say something legitimately positive about the offense. You cannot use an underhanded compliment that is actually an insult, but you may damn with faint praise or by omission.

I’ll go first:

Jack Lausch has a lot of heart out there and deserved more completions than he ended up with.

The offensive line is probably better than it could have been given the lack of experience entering the year and all the injuries, especially in pass pro.

I wanted to say that at 17.3 pts a game, it’s an improvement from the Bajakian years, but then that’s with an FCS game and a safety factored in and just one game into the B1G schedule. Our offense against B1G opponents so far is scoring 3 pts per game and only after the D put the ball deep in the opponents field off a turnover. And we couldn’t score despite a special teams play that took the ball 96 yards down the field for us.

I did like the very first play call of the season.

Unfortunately it’s been downhill from there.

Did I meet the challenge?

A Welcomed Mojo Moose Send Off as I Depart for the Washington Game

This season so far when the Moose have made their presence known the Cats have won. Gotta feel good about today's encounters. A pair walked across our street this morning. Then this evening they returned with one more to make it a rare trio.

Moose Mania
This morning two Moose showed up. Then in the evening they returned with a third.
After the others had their fill of the tasty vegetation, this one stayed on for dessert.

It was fun to think otherwise but I think it is clear the moose has no predictive powers and whether one shows or not has zero correlation or causality to the outcome of NU football.

WGN’s Dave Eanet Introduces New AD Mark Jackson at Pregame N-Zone Alumni Tailgate in Seattle

Now that Jackson is here, NU can fire Schill & Gragg but they won’t.

The Board of Trustees is feckless.

Northwestern has bottom 5 leadership and a toxic culture.

I hope they leave the Big Ten. We still can not beat OSU or Michigan and likely won’t again for decades.
You’re becoming Turk like. Pls do us a favor and take a break.

Maybe find a therapist. I’m not trying to be mean. I think you may benefit from some help.

Looking at Braun's puzzling decision to kick a FG in the third quarter

People might not like it but I can understand if Braun felt he needed to get some (any) O points on the board at that point. Out short yardage O has not been good all year and we were missing the most important pieces, Porter and two OL. That really hurts the options. The O needed to get something, anything. Not getting anything would have devastating.

Look I understand everybody's disappointment in the decision. But I can understand how under the circumstances it was necessary. If Porter is there or if the O had shown any ability to get things done, different decisions would have been in order. Why not the second time as well? The necessary O points were there and the game situation was very different but after the failure, you can understand the decision the first time around.

It isn't just QBs we have had trouble recruiting lately. We have also failed to get our A list every down candidates for RB the last few years so that now we only have one even on the roster
Recruits don’t want to play for a program whose offense can’t score and can’t move the ball. Unfortunately it looks like we may be in a death spiral that is reinforcing itself in that front across multiple regimes and OCs now and it won’t get any easier. Let’s pray we can get Gronowski to come over next year to help break the cycle.

Not the only team that can't run it in

Lausch is not Kaepernick.

Does anyone else remember Brewfka versus Nevada in 2006?

Fitz got outfoxed there too. The Pistol would have been incredible instead of Mick McCall’s crap, but Fitz kept listening to his OCs instead of continuing to educate himself on offensive and defensive philosophies.

Braun is the right coach for us. He’ll probably get fired when the stadium opens and replaced by a “bigger name” to help sell seats.

I cannot wait to see @EvanstonCat’s reaction when one of Pat Ryan’s kids pays a fortune to hire Urban Meyer or Ryan Day after he is fired by OSU 😂
Urban Meyer pls. He was #1 on my wish list.
