Per CBS Sports story, Marshall is opting out of its bowl game after losing 25 players to the portal. Looks all all the 6-6 teams are already scheduled, so they go to the 5-7 list.

I assume this means had Cats finished 5-7, they could have continued practicing, because of just such a circumstance?

If so, I say again...f'ing Duke.

After Nebraska's late obliteration of Indiana on Friday, the Cats have moved into a tie for fourth place in the Big Ten.

They're tied with 11 other teams.

Yes, every team has now played one home game and one away game and 12 of the 18 teams are 1-1. Michigan State (Cats play them 1/12 in Evanston), Michigan (1/19 in Ann Arbor) and UCLA (3/3 in Evanston) are the only 2-0 teams.

I was wondering ever since the Duke game what Wright's fate would be, and questioning why he never saw the field. Didn't even know if he was still on the team.
