Forgive me as I don’t know how to link over to a picture on Twitter, but the official football page just posted a picture of all the new players joining the team. In the second row, from the left, is the 3rd person in Nigel Glover who transferred to OSU last year after the coaching change but then entered the portal again after this season?

First off I am ecstatic that NU finally addressed the elephant in the room. On further review, NU needs to ensure the new AD is set up for success (shocking I know). So new person is brought in, old AD is still "there", (in some bs role) and the folks he hired are still there for all intensive purposes. You can have a weird dynamic in the folks that reported to old guy and new AD. Please note I have not heard much praise about Gragg's hires, so who knows if there will be a purge or just leave on their own. It will be interesting how NU walks this tightrope and builds the department back to respectability.

Side note, how awkward is it to have your old AD basically demoted and and still hanging around? I get the reasoning, but still can lead to unintended consequences.

@lou v talked to Michigan DT prospect Derrick Simmons about his recruitment, his untraditional visit style to see schools in June, and Northwestern.

On campus today for an unofficial visit with his future HoF dad, Larry.

Has offers from Pitt, AZ, Washington St, amongst others.

Northwestern hosted 2026 three-star DT King Liggins from Chicago (Ill.) Brother Rice at their April 20 spring practice. I talked to Liggins about his visit, nearby family ties and his recruitment.

As evident in the above video, a venture into the close by Estuary Park located in our Alaska neighborhood found us trapped as a Moose blocked our exit on the trail leading home. Just a week earlier a similar sized Moose had attacked another Alaska venturer in an Alaska community with the would be photographer losing his life.
Watch as the Moose separates us from a safe return and crosses on the trail ahead of us.

As reflected in the above video, fortunately the Moose was more intent on grazing the park's vegetation than charging at us.

As an added point of historical interest, located in a suburb of the City of Anchorage, Alaska, the Natural Area was formerly the site of one of the few farms in the city. The farm's cleared open field has now grown over with natural vegetation which is accessible by an improved trail that extends out to a bluff area outlook and bird blinds which face the ocean waters and Point Resolution where Captain Cook's men hoisted the British Flag and claimed the surrounding land on his final voyage.

Collins & Co. hosted 6’7” Rolling Meadows forward Ian Miletic for the Minnesota game. Miletic shows offers from both Illinois and Marquette. He’s a 2025, so great to have both Ian and Phoenix Gill in attendance for the Boo farewell party on Saturday night!

For someone who has been through the allocation, any insights about the process would be helpful. Like what areas - if any - of the East and North stands are “reserved” for students, band or visitors. And any other helpful comments.

Some construction progress with the field. Goal posts are in, basic South stands structure is up and reconfiguring of the West stands in progress. Press box is unchanged but I would guess that will change. Nothing on the East or North stands.
